ANTICIPATION

Clock ticks slowly
As if no movement]
Of time
Weeks and days
Drag by
The end is near
A new beginning
Unexpected, unknown
Not prepared
A future
Or  beginning of
The end
Next step
May not be what
You thought
Illusion, delusion
A child
Going into
A grownup world
Clock ticks final
Tock
Bell rings
Burst through
The doors
Into adulthood
Congratulations
You have just
Graduated

MY SPECIAL DAY

All was quiet
There was no lights
Only darkness
House seem
Deserted
Where was everyone
May special day
All forgotten
Or maybe not
Turned around
Went for a walk
To the nearest woods
Watched the squirrels
Gathering nuts
Rabbits disappearing
Down the hole
Deer nibbling
Looked up
Walked away
Slight breeze
Picking up
Branches waving
The way
Following the trail
Back home
Sun setting
Nightfall
Brought darkness
Hours pasted
Sun burst
Forward from
Out of the sky
A new day
Appeared
My special day]
Mine alone
To be shared with
no one

BEGINNING AND END

Burst out the
Birth canal
From a secure location
To an unknown
Environment
To be cared for
Until capable
Of self sufficiency
Grow
Hopefully mature
Sleep, wake
Work, play
Clean
Holidays, vacations
Relax
Be useful, caring
Do unto others as
One would want unto self
Make plans for future
Disrupted
You cannot control
Take time for nothing
Watch a sunset
Mediate
Think
Life is short
In realm of eons
Just a dot in
The universe
