Southern
Indiana bursts
Regularly
with multiple
Personality
weather patterns
At work
while outside it’s hot muggy beneath bulbous storm clouds
Soon it
will be cool monsoon like
Downpours
Overflowing
our gutters yards
Low lying
roads & minds
W the wild
heavy weather that
Seems to
always be bursting
W
indecision
Beneath
heavy clouds
This meat
mind bursts
With light
& oracle
Beneath
heavy clouds
&
Stormy life
I wonder
after 250 years
Being a
nation
Will any
of us ever
Know the
true mystery
Of freedom
Eating lunch and smoking
Waiting on
July to come on
Fireworks everywhere
like
A war zone
as people celebrate
Freedom
My heart
bursts forth w loving memory of my dad
And my
freedoms whatever they are, he fought for so long ago
Now gone
only ever bursting through the other side in to
Memory
Like a
neon sign of patriotism
